Draw Damage

This will be very similar to my thread about friendly fire, except I don't think as many will agree.

So why is draw damage allowed in competitive games? The only reason I can see right now is that not every shot registers when it looks like it should, and so the server-side feedback can be important to players to know if they hit. This wasn't an issue in NS1 because the server-side feedback was blood, you could literally see each shot register on an alien, and if you didn't see the blood pop you know it didn't register.

Either way I don't play with draw damage on. And I don't think it should be on in competitive games.

problem in ns2 is that blood can show up even when you miss.
