Hey all,

Just a highlight from the match earlier today at 1:30PM EST. Here's a quick highlight about the base for base battle that occurred during the 3rd round (Veil).

Hope you enjoy it.

few remarks about your stream last night, i had you muted for most of the round due to mumble/other streams on at the same time, but seems there was some audio played at the start that made the VOD be muted for the first 28mins, should probaly refrain from playing music that causes that. Also those random sounds that played at +200% volume (at least it felt like it), are really obnoxious and not really 'fun' for those with speakers on..

I don't mind the audio being muted while my 'stand by' splash screen is on OBS since there is no action. What I should have realized is while I was in the game, and we were switching servers a bunch, I should have just not played music since it silenced audio into the round.

Only seven minutes of the first round were muted due to the music, so now I know to be a bit more cautious with the buffer between waiting music and the start of a game.

What random sounds did you mean? I'll do my best to control them next time.

The copyright music issue is a problem, people want to listen to music but the VODs are what people want to listen to in the off hours. Although, 2 hours of a no background music can be a bit dull.

Make local recording and cut to only rounds and upload to youtube or maybe try to cut the highlits to rounds only, not sure if the parts stay muted. Or, you know, play music you got licence for or don't play any.

I honestly have no idea what the sound was, my guess is some kind of notification from twitch chat or a variant, it was really loud and just made me mute the stream to ensure to not hear it again, as said was occupied with other things..

I'll try recording locally at the same time, my only worry is that I run close to 100% CPU usage w/ my i5 processor while I have NS2 up. I'm afraid that more strain might cause a crash. I'll see if I can come up w/ a solution to the music license issue. It's just not playing music in the beginning is kind of dull, but people will watch the match if they really want to watch.

Both Xsplit and OBS have an option to save the current streaming file to disk as you stream, at no extra cost to your processor.
