Hello folks, since we upgraded gathers' rules, it appears that people keep abusing too much regarding the 1st & 11th rules.

( 1. When you join a gather, show up and play until the end. )
( 11. Join the ENSL TeamSpeak + NS2 Server in less than 10 Min )

So from now on, i'll be strict on that. Bans incoming.

NB1; Counter starts since teams are picked.
NB2; If I'm not here, provide me evidence (with timed screenshot), or contact any connected admins thx.

As it currently stands your behavior is just toxic and I get the feeling you are just trying to see how much you can annoy everyone. I agree however that sephy should not handle anything relating to you anymore, since you and he both take personal issue with each other - thats my own opinion.

Seriously, although everyone is welcome to share his/her thoughts on the website, forums, comments or whatsoever, we have rules (been written a while ago and have even been edited and improved before season 6 starts). Everybody must respect those rules. We can be lenient about some which are less important, can cause less issues but there comes a time throwing lies on the forums is definitely not helping this community and might be seen as breaking the rules.

You are clearly one of the guys who don't play the game anymore, is used to trolling whenever you can, stating that this game is dead and it's not worth it playing it, and so forth.

Do you really imagine the current community trusting your words? Sephy banned you a couple of days ago for ignoring the forums rules. You've been stirring up drama for, let's say it, no reason. You are the kind of example that proves the staff has been (too?) lenient towards you. Throwing shit on the website whilst no one really cared about what you were saying, you've been warned and even punished by one of our admins. And now, you're unbanned and your first action is to begin lying on the forums, keep not respecting rules or admins' decisions...

I heard that Gather Admins get two votes for which server to play on - that's why it's always Paris when it's over 50% Americans. J/k, I vote EU servers to troll my fellow Americans with my 80 ping.

Legitimately though, is there room for more Gather Admins? I think it would be a good idea to have at least one more active NA admin. I'm happy to help out.

Everyone got 2 votes for maps, server and captain. But you can't vote twice the same captain/map/server. If we are playing on paris it must be because some of you NA guys aren't voting or vote for EU server.

I agree on this point. Sephy can't be present on every gather and having an NA gather admin must fix that a bit. But stop dreaming AD, I dont think ppl who troll half of the time gonna be accept as admin :D

Pretty sure you can only vote for 1 server tho and you can't re-vote, which is a pain in the ass when you have situations like:

Sometimes I'll click at the exact moment the page refreshes the poll so I end up voting for a server I didn't want. There's got to be a better way to do it. Maybe just simply voting for a NA vs EU server location would work better, and then captains or everyone just agrees on a server once people start getting on TS3.

I also wish you could still vote on maps/servers while captains are picking teams because the voting timeframe can feel very short sometimes.

My intention is not to flash "toxic behavior" nor purposely annoy anyone, calling Sephy out may have been unnecessary I'll admit that. I'm also guilty of casual trolling in the past but that doesn't apply here. What happened is nothing major, merely how it was dealt with is what's bothering me.

Basically, it was on the match page of d/y & DWG, we simply asked if they could play on a Sunday & we're answered with a copy-paste message between Ben & Cr4zy:

We're playing fuckcunt Titus on Sunday, we're not playing two fuckcunts on Sunday Ben.

Then started a casual BM between Herakles & Ben, with members from both teams frequently interfering & dropping shots, suddenly Sephy jumps in with a wall of text, deleting OUR comments saying this page should merely be used as a place to discuss a time to play, with Ben following shortly & throwing off more comments without any action from Sephy. I replied with the following:

"How is your lecture on BM any more relevant to the discussion of deciding a date? Just because I don't have the corresponding team beside my name means I don't have the right to talk here? Your team started this hoping to burst their ego-chase, but ended up having nothing to answer for. You're so ignorant & passed the limit of casual BM, it's pathetic really."

I'm not sure if it's because they're all teammates or some of them are IRL friends, regardless it shouldn't be used as an excuse.

Nothing was said after that for some time, but suddenly everything had been deleted & I'm left banned for a week with a message of reading the rules, what exactly did I break?
It's your choice weather or not you want to take my word for it, you might be able to pull out some logs, I don't really care.
Finally, the ban was not what bothered me, the fact this can be done & forgotten just to further some individuals agenda doesn't give me a lot of hope for this place.

I understand that you're a group of people that are doing all this in your free time, I've been a part of it & I respect that.
I don't really care what the -current community's- thoughts are on this, I was asked for my side of the story. The original argument had developed into a discussion on the match page which was -dealt- with by the gather admin as he saw fit. We were all defending members from our representative teams, but when you do so as an admin not as a teammate/player it's passed the boundary. I'm not sure why you're making claims that I'm lying on the forums & intentionally starting fuss, when it seems like you've only heard one side of the story, regardless you're too stubborn. (Was that comment a prime example of breaking the rules?)

I do play the game and I want another season to play out, "hastening it's end" is to none of my interest. However, when matters come up but they're not to your liking, they're instantly classified as issues & get shut down regardless of information, you must have noticed this. You were the one who wanted things to be professional, so be more approachable & consider the fact that a staff member might actually be in the wrong.
I was asked to stand down by the same person that told you not to post anything, but you did so regardless, reason remains unknown, same as usually, you have things misunderstood.

I've been on the staff for a couple of months now and whosoever was part of it, we've never protected or defended anyone. We have our own tool to communicate internally and this said drama happened when I was fully busy due to exams. I got back and saw how messy was the situation. I've been told you were banned and you're right, got only Sephy's point of view on this. However, although you have no way to know this, your ban or anything else related to his team shouldn't have been dealt by him. Meaning that when it comes to your own team, you are obviously biased even if you think you aren't. You might also understand that I came back like 5 days after your ban, unban you couldn't have been a solution since I missed all the important stuff. Though I more or less investigated and judged that whatever you did, and I trust the others for that case, a single ban of a few days can't be that harsh. I let it as it was.

It's true, we had an issue about DwG - d/y match page bullshit, I was away and none of the other admins really took care of it, Sephy apart and you're right again it was not up to him but you can imagine that when such a retard situation occurs and all the staff is quite passive, something must be done, and he faced the consequences, regardless what they were.

Claiming the staff is corrupted is part of the 'lies'. Aside your 'personal vendetta' against Sephy, you clearly implied there was more than one. Maybe you're right, maybe not, but it's definitely some kind of disparagement and it cannot be accepted without any evidence. If you think some admins if that is what you meant are 'corrupted', you'd rather prove why and how instead of throwing this once one of the admins tells you to not clutter the thread (which is more than cluttered with all our messages now...).

This is wrong, you would have seen your message deleted or this thread closed or anything else to make sure everything 'not to our liking' is ignored. So far, we've been very lenient (again) about the rules, and any approach that tends to be different than what we think, including feedbacks or criticizes towards our staff are important. It needs to be communicated with anyone you might trust in the staff to make things running better. In Sephy's case, you only came saying he was corrupted. I'm not calling this an approach but more someone being pissed off against the guy.

A troll in our case, can be listened. But when it comes to important stuff, he has to be less trolling. You did the opposite and it doesn't seem like if you were trying to approach us in any way, just look at this thread.

I agree with you, being obliged to leave and rejoin to re-vote is stupid. About the thing "vote for NA or EU" i disagree, ppl take 10min to join a fucking TS3 and a fucking server. Addind stfu that ppl need to choose after the pick isn't the good solution. Myb we just can reserve one NA and one EU serv for gathers and thats all. Just choose NA or EU and join the unique server.

Even if thoses servers go down, ppl can always join another one, there is a lot of ununsed server even on "pcw" hours.

If there are in total more american servers. The american server with the most votes will be picked.

In addition I would like to suggest Knox to represent the americans gather admin. He is active and got the power to make everthing awesome ^^

And plz change the rules to ONE MAP. In like 99% of gathers there will never be played a second map.
Maybe it would help to not scare new ppl to join a gather and not spend maybe 2 hours.

Or they just figure it out by looking at the server list and seeing which passworded server has people in it.

So if one captain is the last to connect on TS3, we wait until he show up ? Moreover why 2 ppl should choose for 12 ? Okay they must not be retarded and take the best server for their mates, but choosing servers on the gather page got the same process and it's even quicker cuz once team are picked you already know the server. It's not EU players fault if NA guys are voting for different servers. Current process is fine. Just need to get less servers on the list.

Yes it's dumb. But EU players usually vote for the same EU server. Just do the same.

I wasn't implying that 2 people pick the server. Everyone votes for either EU or NA and then once that is decided, the two captains decide which specific server everyone is going to. If for some reason the captain is the last one to get on TS3 then the other captain could just pick a server by them self. Works with reddit mumble just fine...

Things are we still have some sort of issues on the website. Meaning that anyone adding his/her server on the website, will show up on the Gather list. Which is stupid but it would require to delete all the servers from the website. I think it needs to be fixed first before even thinking about changing how the server system works.
