12/12 update:

Lighting has been revamped (colors and brightness)
Removed various floor props and railings (less impedance on combat)

nice guide, would recommend studying this.

these same principles can be applied to a lot of NS2 MAPS. once you get the idea of LANING and expansion sides this game becomes rather cookie cutter. (think of TRAM northspawn aliens vs southspawn marines! Can You Visualize What Side Both Teams Expand To??)
