OR .. READ THE RULES! AGREE ON A SERVER WITH OTHER TEAMCAPTAIN OR TEAMADMIN ! wth ppl pls l2read !

the rules are ambiguous: found on the news page (http://www.ensl.org/articles/633), the phrase "agree to your match server", server singular, implies one server is agreed upon, while the phrase "that's one server for each team" implies that each team picks one server.

to obfuscate things more: on the rules page, it says, "Server agreed on the website must be used for both maps." and then immediately afterward: "Unless the server has been pre-defined on the website, team leaders should contact each other and agree on server(s) to play on. Then each team may decide a server for one map." these two statements quite obviously contradict each other.

the last ENSL season I played, when we (Americans) had to play Europeans, we had to play both maps on Europe, but against Argentina we played one map USA one map Argentina. against Argentina, we had to concede our ping advantage, while against Europeans, they got to exploit it. This is extremely unfair to us, and a very obvious solution is to allow each team to pick one server to play one map on (within reason). unfortunately, the rules are ambiguous in this regard, so I ask again -- are special concessions going to be made for Americans as well?

It says clearly in the general rules (which you're quoting here) that season specific rules overrule general rules.

You've pretty much answered your own question about 3 times in your post.

You choose one server each.

You're right. The rules are confusing. I removed the general rules for that part because each season is meant to have their own server rules (we try to keep the general rules as same as possible). Its up to tom and other season admins what kind of S15 server rules they want, I reckon they posted about this already.

I actually made pretty sophisticated average ping server rules back then but nobody understood or used them properly so after that it has been admin / referee jurisdiction with different preferenes each season.
