Hello Gentlebeings!

Now that S1 starts I notice that we have trouble to contact a handful of teams for matchmaking.

ENSL needs to adjust the rules regarding the contact options for a team. Teams without proper contact data (no email, no website, no Steam profile etc) should not be accepted. Its a pain to try to contact them when the only way is to hope that they might check their PMs on ENSL.org.

A suggestion:
- Teams have to provide at least two (2) players as organisators with at least valid eMail and Steam-profile.
- Steam Profile links in the players profile on ensl.org is a must. (this provides a fallback system in case the organisators are unobtainable and no website is available.)

Thanks.
Whats your opinion?

I feel like we should not let anyone play unless he gives us his phone number and his Bankinformation oh and ofc his creditcard number.

I mean how else is the ENSL going to stay alive!

I do believe that every team Leader is in the ENSL Leaders Group on STeam which should be enough to contact them.

Just make sure you have prove that you tried to contact him and if there is no way you get a response make sure your team is set to play on the sheduled time .. if they dont show up .. you will get the forfeit .. i know it is not the sense of this league to get the points but still .. you dont have to worry so much!

Yeah but you cant expect to give out personal information to just anybody and if someone does not want to you got to respect that.

And as i said .. if you cant make contact just have your team ready come gametime.

E-Mail adress == Personal Information !

as you sure realize the only useful tool to make contact is E-Mail .. cause ppl can choose to not start Steam for days .. but most ppl wont check their mail for days .. that is why i ignored the Steampart... for most ppl obvious but i guess you are one person i will have to talk through everything again .. man i was sick of that so long ago !

I see where you're coming from. Maybe link to steam profile could be a good start. We'll see.

In the meanwhile if you have any trouble contacting a team you can tell the admins about it. If a given team is too hard to reach for all its opponents (and/or for the admins) we can probably do something about it.

Every registered member on the ensl should have valid steam id in their profile.
you can use it to find the steam username.
