Top job lads, how you fit your balls in your trousers?
Pissed off with people joining rookie servers for hours on end and racking up 100-10 scores, making countless rookies leave the server and probably quit the game.

This morning on CV competitive server it was nearly full with div 3-prem players and over on this rookie server we have the great johnthebeatle from yggdrasil just stomping the shit out of rookies who would just keep leaving for new rookies to join and do the same.

Lets all take a moment to reflect on our own moralities and pray to the ns2 gods that we can all be as strong as this fine scholar.

I think the big skill gap in NS2 is nothing new. You can`t find a way to "protect" the less skilled players from the "skilled" ones.

Even you skyice could maybe stomp some people in pub and then you could be considered a skilled player but just in relation to some pub players. But would you consider yourself a high skill player just because you "own" on a rookie servers probably not. And if you play on rookie servers do you consider yourself as one of the people who kill NS2 ( in your opinion) ?

In my opinion the reason for the lack of people in NS2 canĀ“t be defined by blaming certain players for playing on rookie servers.

I was playing with my 4 year old son. Everyone here loves ns2 way more than we should do, is it really so far fetched to ask for respect for new people playing? I mean the skill gap between div 1 and 4 and then div 4 to rookie -
Div 1 on a rookie server and stomping round after round, can no one see that some player etiquette might be a positive thing to encourage?

I think we all know that "Rookie friendly" always has been a lie since there's no function that stops good players from joining anyway. This false security is entirely UWE's creation, easily exploitable by anyone. They are the real ones to blame. If the admins about on a server aren't going to kick a good player among rookies, there's nothing that can be done. Some people aren't doing this to purposefully cause any harm though. Some people have too much fun kicking easy ass, some stat-pad to treat massive general performance anxieties, and some are simply too desensitized to feel compassion. Either way, there are better reasons to feel more sorry for these people than for the rookies they destroy.

Wait, it might've been a dream, but I'm pretty sure I once got instantly kicked by a server because I had more than 100 hours played. So there is a system in place in some mod that makes it possible to "protect" rookies from highdiv stomp.

I get the point of OP, and it would be nice if people tried to avoid stomping and ruining the possibility of new players, because all comp players were rookies once too (ikr, craycray!). So if you're a big bad compie, stay away from rookie servers, your epeen really doesn't grow that much when you slaughter less than 100hour rookies. It'll grow way more if you slaughter equally skilled players!

For me its inapprehensible how somebody has fun to pwn on a rookie NS- Server.
