Anti-racism policy

Hello,

We are taking a strict anti-offense and anti-racistic attitude. All such offenses will give one week ban unless we have a reason to believe its a joke which is up to admins. Also other exception are situations where we think offense has happened becase of provocation.

I will be myself in future as long as I get better opinion from some of you anti racists.. but I have only heard you saying same things over and over again (racism is bad) and not any real opinions with some explaining.

I think there is no need to turn ensl into a political discussion board, ie. start talking about why racism is bad. We are here to play NS and nothing alse.
For a NS league it is enough, and very welcome, to issua a "No offenses allowed" policy, so everyone can play their game and not spend half of their time shouting at eachother.

If you want to prove something, take a stand on the battlefield and win your games with some dignity.

And for Gods sake grow up allready, the real world is all around you and internet is part of it.

the point was that people like James were constantly spamming "nigger".. there is a team called "los negros" and one image of a clan is almost promoting the KKK and killing black people.

All he did was ask the admins to discourage this sort of activity before it escalates.

The fact that even you are still talking about it like this is removing all of your human rights and freedom of speech like the fucking PRC would do is retarded.

I agree with Ots. All those exceptions you included only make people test the limits of your conviction. Go for an all-out ban on racist and otherwise offensive language regardless of circumstances.

agrees with tjo, no disrespecting anyone in any other way. See section 9 in rules. In my eyes this rule should also be enforced on site/forums.No tolerance from admins!

Don't get ahead of yourselves here. I don't think you just ban racism *and* attempt to deal anti-offensive behaviour in general just yet. It's totally reasonable to just ban racism as racism is what's gone too far in this league. You can enforce a racism ban but you'll fall at the first hurdle with a total blanket ban - everything will collapse very quickly. You already have people testing your patience and limits as it is. What i advise over all else though, is that you *actually* start following through with threats. It's just bad parenting. Fair enough, you've allowed people like james and peanut and smoke back into the league (I would never have even though i think they're all ok now.)but from now on, you've got to take a tougher stance. Issue a final warning and then act on people like doogie ("YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF WHITEYS"). As much as I might like these people, they're just pushing boundaries for the sake of it.
