after some silly light-hearted drama pre-game, the teams ready up with <3 on marine, and epic on alien. after a semi-successful base rush, the game settled down with marines building double and pressuring cargo. the marines get mashed first rush, but manage to kill chem in a second push. fade goes up. aa is warping. rines get into fusion, and die. :<. things look good for epic. rines get a phase in satcom, but they get mashed again. zharp dies. aa warps. tane is knifed as fade. rines keeps trying! after one last push the 4 fades just finish the round, gg epic. 1-0.

<3 aliens and they rush double, managing to kill all 3 marines. the marines push through cargo killing the node successfully, and <3 then manage to kill the marines inside fusion. aa goes crazy. the aliens rush the base and kill the amory but fail in killing the rest of base. HA goes up, but have little res, it seems like it could go either way at this point (8 mins or so), at almost exactly the same time, the hive and seiges go up and the struggle for fusion begins. a poor effort to kil the marines by the aliens, and the hive goes down. the marines push straight to waste for the final blow. heavies prove to powerful and easily get the seiges up and finish off the hive, gg 2-0 for epic.

epic play aliens on veil first, and try to ambush at topo but avl with sg with another lmg push out towards dome and cargo. They die and rines push to c12, but unfortunately dont manage to get c12 down either, aliens playing strong. the marines push to dome and get a PG up. they change pg position to system and attempt to push cargo, the hive goes up and marines are pushed back a little. After the marines lose system PG and double nodes, the aliens just smash base and the game is over, gg epic again 3-0.

less than three start with cargo hive, the marines try to push double but die to less than threes well organised skulks. epic push 2 shotguns into double on a second attempt and kill both nodes before dying to the skulks once again. less than three gets a fade up while epic moves out to build more nodes, the marines are close to c12 when they realise pipe is going up, they manage to build a PG and push into the hive... Epic scramble to kill the hive while penix also works hard to kill the marines. the marines luckily beacon after getting killed, but get back into the hive and kill it, despite penix's best efforts to stop them. after he dies, the game just slowly moves to the marines favour. eventually pushing on cargo and finishing off, a good game for epic and 4-0.
