When a consumer pays for a product, he expects to receive it at the agreed upon date or at least within reasonable time. He doesn't care about the reasons for him not receiving said product, all he knows is he paid for something he didn't get.

If they'd been forthright and said "please pre-order this game so we have enough funds to actually make it -- but we don't know when that will be", this wouldn't have been a problem.

Frankly, I don't care about the delays, but it's easy to understand why people are getting a bit miffed.

I didn't expect the game or alpha last year, because i know how much work was still to be done, i don't really mind either, as long as the product itself will become great.

We're not being dicks. I don't care when you bring it out and am quite happy to donate to get it made but the fact of the matter is that it's not our fault that you haven't made it.

If you slate a release date and then totally ignore it you're going to take some flak. It's as simple as that.

There is yes. Thing is the Fall 2009 teaser was put there by the investees. It was supposed to just be a trailer with no kind of date. That kinda messed everything up. We're all working on the "alpha" at the moment. Armageddon will occur when that gets released.

Imo they shouldnt change the ns1 physics and gameplay, the only thing which should be renew is the grafic and some map opportunities to make every game special and to win lost games.

As i saw the video i knew charlies team change the coolest game into something shity like alien vs. predator... i feel this gamedevelopment (sprint/no bunnyhop) went damn wrong and i am all on edge to see the alpha
