Hiya!

Few things dont look good around here, lets start.

1)It doesent look like a forum, add:

• Few stats: Whos here, total number of posts, total number of topics, who wrote the most posts.
• The thingy that shows where u are in the forum structure, and u can click on it, to the bottom of the page too
• Display 3-5 subforums under the title of the main forum on the main site, for example:

      General Discussion

      Pictures of Lifeless Nerds, What we want from NS2, IRC Quotes!, Mistakes of NS1

      Anything that doesn't go in the other forums.

• add quote feature
• mark new posts also, not just active/new topics

2) Either make it full screen, or make it implemented into the main site, like the rest of the pages are, but this mid-way is just no-good.

• If you make it fullscreen, add a link to the main page (preferably the main logo could be a link), and make the window open in new tab.
• If you make it implemented, use the new logo on the main site too (i'd rather prefer this method),

3) Found a few bug:

• If a main forum is unread, its red. I click on it. It has 2 unread forums, i click on one(so it becomes read -> Blue), i go back to the top-forum, and the main forum is marked read (blue), even though it has a sub-forum unread (red).
• If you guys write to the admin forums, it is shown on the main site (lates topics thingy)

4) Limit the max signature in 3 lines please, saw a steam update banner, and it fcks up the whole thing.

Besides these, so far so good :)

Disagree, the width is good as it is.

The signature you're referring to is not in violation of the rules.

Some of your other suggestions aren't really necessary IMO, but good effort.

Stuff I want:

Darker outlines on everything, I can't see this pussy light grey on white on my LCD monitor unless i tilt my head and it's annoying.

Better visual cue of change of posts. A big blue line between each post would be awesome.

The page selector (Previous, 1,2,3,...,8,Next) thing at the top of each page.

This thing: Forums » Feedback » New Forums at the bottom of each page.

Once you've posted give option of viewing post or going back to main forum.

oh and a way to pick what page of a thread to view from the actual forum thread list instead of having to go into the topic and scroll to the bottom

We tried, this one is better imo.

Coloring schema doesn't match.

This is more like design than a bug, when you visit the forum, it marks it read. This is also more effcient.

Haven't rolled in the updates yet though.

just make it a lil deeper blue, so it hits away, its a pain in the ass to look for the newest posts.. at this low topics u can keep it in mind, but imagine when ns2 hits in and activity hits the ceiling..

Well its on topic page, where it fits in.

it would fit in on the buttom also, its not good to scroll up, once u read a forum, we are lazzzy

also, please add the page-shifter to the top also, and to the topic name on the topic list too.

I think the bigges problem I have with this forum at the moment is there are too many lines dividing everything up. Why not just use different background colours to mark out posts and such.

Well I have updated the sites for Voodo's and mu's suggestions except for the page selection and thread redirect after posting which I'm going to implement later.

And yeah, feedback is great, more the merrier.

That looks fugly, dux.

There seems to be a bug with the date bar when users with avatars write short posts.

It wasn't intended as a literal "do this" idea, ya know.

Nice forum, a bit empty but free of that default look.

You chopped a third of my name off, GIVE ME BACK MY "!!"

Also, add a login/logout option in the forums. Having to travel back and forth to the main site to do it is a pain.

Looking good so far though, good work!
